The Thistle Hotel is housed in a large, modern red brick building with an imposing entrance. The spacious lobby is attractively in a luscious manner. A long, curving wood-panelled reception desk runs the length of it and there is ample comfortable seating.
The 300 guestrooms are generally very spacious and offer all that a guest could need. Floors 1-4 house the standard bedrooms which are decorated in a traditional manor in gold and red tones with hints of tartan and floral designs. Floors 5-8 house the deluxe and executive rooms which have been recently refurbished in a cool and contemporary fashion and feature flat screen televisions. All rooms have fridges and can be stocked as a mini-bar on request. Wi-fi internet access is available throughout the building. In this hotel, triples and family rooms are equipped with two double beds.
The hotel has two excellent restaurants. One - the "Cabin Restaurant" - offers à la carte menus and a set business lunch, whilst the other - Annan offers a Scottish meanue with a twist! The "Cabin Bar" is also open until late and serves light meals. The hotel's Otium Health and Leisure club features a swimming pool, hot spa baths, sauna, steam rooms, gym and a range of health and beauty treatments.
