A mile or so from the SECC. We turned right out of the hotel and was on the road to the venue. This hotel is well worth considering if you're attending the SECC for whatever reason. The only fault was the breakfast was not of the highest quality. Right in the centre of Glasgow, all of the city centre is within 20 mins walk.

The hotel was lovely, just dont take your car. I wasn't aware of how little a discount the hotel offers for parking in the adjacent car park. When I asked about parking the receptionist said "Dont worry we will stamp your ticket". It still cost £7.00 for one night.

This was a last minute booking as was going to concert at secc and decided to stay over. Hotel staff and management were ever so helpful and friendly would not hesitate to book this hotel again. Would definately recommend. Secc was in walking distance.

General common areas and bedrooms were clean, well maintained and comfortable.
A little more sound proofing between the rooms would help.
Front Office/Reception Staff were friendly and helpful.

Did not stay long enough in Glasgow to get a feel, so do not feel I can offer advice about the local area and its attractions.

Convenient location, but some noise from adjacent busy railway line. Bar at hotel was expensive, but restaurant offered good food at affordable prices.

Large, busy Hotel popular with both business travellers & tourists. Public areas well furnished, bedrooms quite basic but spacious.
Plenty of friendly, helpful & efficient staff in restaurant & recpetion.
Good breakfast even 'tho it was buffet style.
Would happily stay here again. Great location for secc, shopping, restaurants etc.
Top Tip
We had excellent meals at the Ho Wong, York Street (walking distance) as well as Spuntini in Byres Road (West End).
