The City Inn is a housed in a strikingly modern 5-storey building overlooking the River Clyde. The medium sized lobby is decorated in a light modern style with a tiled floor and beige and orange tones. The 164 soundproofed guestrooms are likewise appointed in a contemporary style, with soft furnishings in bold tones. All feature imac computers from which you can watch TV or access the internet. They are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, mist-free mirrors, bathrobes and slippers. The hotel’s City Café restaurant serves modern European dishes and has an open air deck, where guests can dine al fresco and enjoy the view over to the newly redeveloped Finnieston Quay. There’s also an elegant bar serving drinks and cocktails.
