Though not terribly prepossessing from the outside, the Alexander Thompson Hotel is an efficient budget property. It's ideal for those who want to be centrally located but to spend as little money as possible. It offers good service from staff and clean, basic rooms with minimal facilities.

comfy bed ... clean white sheets... Big,airy clean room overlooking the main road but no problem with traffic noise... Bed was clean ... the room was not very clean ... lots of dirty marks up the walls ... Warm rooms comfy bed ... need firmer mattress... CLEAN... Big Room, Decent Furniture, Clean And spacious toilet... We thought the room was very nice and clean... Nothing in the room to say you could order food,room service,... It would be nice to have some biscults with the tea & coffee provided... A clean enough hotel... missing leaver to turn bath into shower,...
